HOW 100+ WOMEN MIDCOAST MAINE WORKS

When 100 women come together to donate $50 each, we raise $5,000 in one hour for a local nonprofit.

• Each member commits to donating $50 per meeting ($200 per year) directly to the nonprofit selected at the meeting. Members may donate more than $50 if they like. This pool of money makes up our Impact Donation.

• Members in good standing may nominate a local nonprofit. The member must be at the meeting to put a nomination in the bowl.

• Three nonprofits are pulled at random from the bowl to be considered. The nominating member has five minutes to tell the group about the organization they nominated, the services they provide and how they make our community a better place. We will have a short question and answer period at the end of each presentation.

• The group votes by ballot and the organization with the most votes receives our Impact Donation. Although it may not be your first choice, you are still obligated to donate. Donations may be made by check or credit card.
